Pasta Base
1 lb ziti or penne pasta
1 lb ground beef or Italian sausage
1 small onion, diced
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
1 (15 oz) container ricotta cheese
1 egg
2 cups shredded mozzarella
ยฝ cup grated Parmesan
1 tsp Italian seasoning
Salt & pepper to taste
Infusion
.1g to .2g RSO or distillate (amount based on desired total mg)
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter

Warm your oil or butter gently over low heat (do not boil).
Remove from heat. Add your RSO or distillate.
Stir thoroughly until fully dissolved and evenly combined.
Set aside โ this will be mixed into the ricotta layer for even dosing.

Preheat oven to 375ยฐF.
Cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Brown meat with onion and garlic in a large skillet. Drain excess grease.
Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer 5โ10 minutes.
In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, Parmesan, and your infused oil/butter. Mix thoroughly to distribute evenly.
In a large baking dish, layer:
Half the pasta
Half the meat sauce
Half the ricotta mixture
Sprinkle mozzarella
Repeat layers
Top with remaining mozzarella and a little extra Parmesan.
Cover with foil and bake 25 minutes.
Remove foil and bake another 10โ15 minutes until bubbly and golden.
Let rest 10โ15 minutes before serving (this helps both texture and dosing consistency).
