For the Pasta O’s
2 cups anellini pasta (or any tiny O-shaped pasta)
Salt for boiling water
For the Meaty Sauce
1 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
1 lb ground beef, turkey, or sausage (your favorite)
1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
1 cup water or beef broth
1 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp onion powder
½ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt (to taste)
¼ cup heavy cream (optional, makes it extra creamy)
👩🍳 Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the Pasta
Boil salted water.
Cook anellini pasta until tender (10–13 min).
Drain and set aside.
2️⃣ Infuse & Cook the Meat
In a medium pot over low heat, melt butter + olive oil.
Stir in your RSO or distillate until fully combined.
Add ground meat. Brown completely, breaking up clumps.
3️⃣ Build the Saucy Goodness
Stir in tomato sauce, water/broth, and tomato paste.
Add sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt.
Simmer for 8–10 minutes to let flavors meld.
Stir in heavy cream for extra richness.
4️⃣ Combine Pasta & Sauce
Add cooked pasta O’s to the sauce.
Stir gently to coat evenly.
